hmm..today i was just thinking..what wld the scene be like at the airport when i will be leaving singapore to East Asia for 1 mth during next yr semester break?

then it suddenly dawn upon me that i wld have to overcome alot of emotional barriers..the barriers of temporary leaving my family and friends for 1 mth..seriously..since young, i din leave singapore for more than 1 week before..and im always surrounded by my family and frens..i think i wld miss alot of ppl..like my parents and siblings, my friends, sparklers, cell mems, disciples, etc..as i think more, my eyes suddenly became abit wetter..but i controlled..

at the pt of interview, when zhihui asked me what are some struggles that i have going for this trip..i told him i got air sickness, etc..but it din occur to me then that i have emotional barriers to overcome too..like leaving my family and frens temporarily..this may sound abit crazy cos im not leaving them permanently or for a few yrs..but just cant help feeling sad..and over there, probably i will not have the time to contact whoever i want whenever i wish..see? stepping out of comfort zone also means having to learn to overcome this kind of "separation feelings"..

so what keep me going?well..to balance up, i think God has a purpose for me and my team over at EA..to fulfill a high calling..to save souls and populate heaven..to help to fulfill the Great Commission is what that keep me going..it is that that motivates me..and to fight a gd fight of faith for the Most High..oh God, give me strength..

my frens, i will miss all of you....

"Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses."

1 Timothy 6:12

and i pray hard that i will come back, quoting what timothy says..

"I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith."

2 Timothy 4:7
