Ethan Ong and Miracle Revival..

heh..met up with cerelia to shop for a bag for the subsequent wedding dinners that i will be attending..quite a number of them..abt 3..hehe..

just as we were walking towards orchard MRT station, we saw a boy name Ethan Ong who is the youngest busker in Singapore outside Taka..saw him on TV once when a chinese show interviewed him and his family..his dad actually help him to move his drum set to the place where he will perform..his whole family is very supportive..even his grandparents..LOL..he started playing the drum at the age of 2 and now he is 6..i rem that the show actually feature some scenes when he was young..like he will just anyhow take 2 sticks and start hitting the cups, bowls and create his own music..it is like he did it very naturally..then his dad realised that Ethan has this gift..and sent him for professional coaching..He will play the drums quite often at orchard road..sometimes, his whole family wld be down to support him..hehe..i really think that it is very gd..his gifting is not buried..but it was discovered and develope..and the first song that we heard him playing is "Jesus You are my Best Friend"..most of the time he played christian song..the song will be played and he just started hitting the drums naturally..an eye opener for me and cerelia..

then i set off to church..i was so so excited!!every sat, there will be miracle svc at Lighthouse Evangelism Woodlands(LEW) and Lighthouse Evangelism Tampines(LET) at 7pm..Pastor Rony will be in LEW and it will be telecast over to LET..this week which is today, is diff!!cos my church went to Manila to conduct a miracle svc..which they call it Miracle Revival..a.k.a overseas crusade..this is the first time that an overseas crusade is telecasted LIVE to LET and LEW..so we can actually see the stadium over there..WAH man..the stadium can contain abt 50K ppl..Miracle svc only started at 7pm..but the stadium was filled at 3pm already..alot of ppl were actually praying even before the Miracle Revival starts..abt 300++ church members were there..they were there since wednesday..and today is the last nite..

before the Miracle Revival start, the pastors received news that a typhoon is approaching in the direction of the stadium..in singapore, the pastor told us to pray for them..to pray for the typhoon to be gone and not harm anyone..and i believed that over at manila, the ppl were praying as well..sure enuff, when the svc was going to start, pastor received the news that the typhoon was going north and towards the South China Sea..praise God!!everyone clapped and praising Jesus!!!!

even before the Miracle Revival starts, ppl already get their healings..so they went up on stage to give testimonies..ALOT of ppl were actually healed of deafness and hearing impairmt..i lost count of them..then there is this lady, 25 yrs old..she was paralysed..cld not move at all..and i can imagine her relatives and love ones actually carried her or push her there in wheelchair..she gave testimony saying that even before the Miracle Revival starts and one of the church members was praying for her..she acted on her faith..then she began to stand up and walk!!!wat a miracle!!! there is this sister..who had groitre(which is a big lump develope near the neck area) for 20 yrs..she was crying as she gave her testimony..tears of joy..after the prayer, she touch her neck and found that the lump was gone miraculously!!can you imagine..20 yrs!!!and it was gone and she was healed by Jesus in just one nite!! there is another sister..who is mute and deaf from the time she was borned..and after prayer, she can speak and hear!!how we know? cos Pastor Rony ask her to repeat after him.. "Mama" and she followed suit.. "Papa" and she followed suit..can hear she can differentiate the "M" and the "P"..praise the Lord!!everyone clapped!!another sister was blind..and she was healed as well!!she can see clearly!!wonderful Jesus!!and the testimonies from LET and LEW was telecasted over there as well..Healed of liver damage, healed of arthritis, etc..a nite of miracles in manila!!and in singapore as well!!

i was weeping as the ppl in manila was giving their testimonies and singing praise songs to God..i really see their child-like faith..it was very touching..they really put me to shame..the ppl in manila, most of them dun have the finance to see doctor..and i believe the ppl are not only from manila..from diff parts of philipines as well..they dun have the money to seek medical help..so their only hope is Jesus and they put all their faith in Him..trusting Him that He can healed them..when a Miracle revival was held over at an open stadium at Medan Indonesia(100K ppl), can see ppl crawling to the Miracle Revival..cos they were so sicked..they dun have the money to see doctor also..after the prayer, they were just healed!!how come?it is just 2 simple words : Faith and obedience..after the prayer, they were asked to do the things they formerly cld not do..if you cant walk, walk..if you cant lift up your hand becos of the pain, lift it up..it is just like the paralysed man who was brought to Jesus by his friends..the place that Jesus was in was very crowded..and they cld not make their way thru..so they climb up to the roof, used a rope, with their paralysed fren on a stretcher, they lowered him down to where Jesus was..and Jesus said, "stand up, take up your mat and walk"..the man obeyed Jesus and did just that..He was healed!!the man was doing something he formerly cld not do..the ppl in manila did what they formerly cld not do..trusting that God will honour their faith..i was weeping even when singing the closing songs..cos i see that God loves the ppl in manila as much as me, you, and everyone else..that God loves us equally whether we know or feel it or not..God is just so good!!and i was also touched by the faith that the ppl have..oh God..teach me to appreciate the things i have..teach and help me to count my blessings..teach me how to trust You like how a child trust his father..simple faith..

it is not Pastor Rony nor the gospelighters who heals..it is very clear.. becos if it is Pastor Rony who heals, there wun be any healing in singapore..becos Pastor Rony was in manila..he cant be at 2 places at the same time..it is not the gospelighters who heal as well..cos some ppl actually receive their healing even before a gospelighter pray for them..It is Jesus who heals..thousands were saved thru this Miracle Revival..all glory to Jesus!! =)

i can really see God working in my parents' heart..although they are still not very recpetive to the gospel, i thank God that they are willing to let me go for overseas mission trips..at first, i was prepared to get scolded straight in my face when asking my mum whether i can go overseas..but she din scold me!she even encourage me to go to a place where the living standard is not as gd as singapore..i was pleasantly surprised!and my mum even help me to check whether my passport has expired!!she still said that she may give me some financial support if she got the money next yr..i was so so pleasantly surprise by God and her!!really thank God!! "If anyone of you ask for bread, wld i give you a stone?"

i really thank God for this whole week..i learnt alot of things..learning on how to resolved my primary emotions in my heart..learnt that as i stepped out in and by faith and ask, i will received and my joy will be complete..re-emphasize the truth in me that God is not biased, He looks at the heart..God is good all the time!! =)

But finding no way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him with his stretcher through the tiles into the midst, in front of Jesus.
