was quite busy the past 2 weeks!!

National Day:

It was great to be on stage with so many ppl..we had been practising hard for this day..it was drizzling,but it din dampen our spirit..we were facing 12000 ppl singing all the very-familiar-national-day songs.."One people, One nation", "We Are Singapore", etc..i remembered back in primary sch, i loved the community singing each term..haha!!when we were singing the last songs, the MPs went on stage to sing along with us..i dunno how to describe how i felt..safia cried..i knew she was touched and proud at the same time.. =)

during our combined rehearsal the day before, when we were singing "Home", for the 1st time in my whole life..that i feel proud to be a Singaporean..and tears were rolling in my eyes as i sang the song..i was touched..really..haha..partly becos it is my favourite national day song..and i really felt very very proud of Singapore..it was very different from my other performing experiences..i mean we were alrdy on stage performing for 12000 people and also for Singapore, and we had been practising hard for it..it would be very weird not to feel anything, at least there shld be some stirring feelings within us..if not, how can we sing passionately and with pride??

it was a very tiring day..but i enjoyed every moment of it!!i mean since i was alrdy there and performing together with so many ppl, of cos must have fun and enjoy!!if not defeat the purpose man!!and it is only once a year loh!!going back home wa sa real headache..haha!!however, Anthony was generous and being a gentleman, sponsored our cab fees home!!thank you brother!! =)

did some reflection the next day after watching the NDP encore..Singaporeans can complain abt everything(i am guilty of it sometimes)..from ERP, increase in food price(btw, this is a global problem, not only singapore is facing it), etc etc etc etc..we can go on and on..but hey!!lets stop and take a gd look at singapore objectively..compared to other countries..we have a relatively corruption free, careful and planful government, safe from calamity, generally efficient and effective healthcare, etc etc..again..the list can go on and on..it really depends on our perceptive..we are alrdy in singapore and born here, it does not help anything when we tend to complain and criticising so much..it will not change the policies, it will not make the situation better..so just live on and make the best out of it!haha!!i tot of migrating some time back if i can afford to in the future, but now, i dun think i want to..cos i still love singapore lah!!and i only realise it now loh!!haha!!

met up with leo and kang before they flew off..went to JJ last wednesday..Mr lau so nice!!brought his own champagne along and had a toast before we left..haha..the champagne alcohol percentage is 12%..which is quite high for champagne..very bitter also!!so mr lau opened a can of sprite for me to mix with it..it taste nicer!!haha!!it was a really great and nice gathering!!i love it!!

got motion sickness on the way back..LOL..but after vomiting, felt so much better!!and i can go K loh!!haha!!so went to yishun safra(i realised it is my favourite party world branch) and we sang!!LOL!!fun man!!

then met up with leo again on sat afternoon to watch love guru!!funny but crude..haha!!

oh man..now leo is in australia and kang in brunei..shucks man..my woodlands kakis all gone!!sad lah!!pls pls quickly come back quickly come back..........LOL!!leo and kang, when you see this, TAG ME K!!MUST TAG AH!!haha!!

oh ya!!and i watched money no enough 2 with kang!!nice!!very very touching!!i cried loh!!all of you must go watch k!!

nice show to catch: 12 lotus. will watch it with tzehui i guess..haha..we watched 881 together also..so i assume that we will watch any movie together when the director is royston tan!!haha!!but we will watch it much much later!!when we watched 881 that time, only 2 of us in the cinema, i tell you, it was super shiok!!i can just put my legs and hands anywhere..nobody cares!!haha!!

Pastor Rony wrote this song just in time for National Day..i think he appeared in the newspaper(i dunno abt this until someone told me) and had an interview with him..haha..his voice sounded a little like Elvis man!!and i think the backup singers are sister girlie and the other worship leaders..haha!!Praise the Lord for this wonderful video!!ppl enjoy!!
