this will be quite a 杂叭琅 post!!haha!!a random mixture of anything!!

had slight diarrhoea ytd and today..oh man!!my stools very watery and yellowish!!LOL!!ok..i know it is too detailed..haha!!

ytd MC had the performing gro audition..the moment tze hui and i stepped into MC, ppl started asking us whether we are joining..haha..we din join yet..cos we wanna learnt more things 1st..din know they test theory as well!!!oh man!!Peter Lao Shi is quite particular abt theory actually, expect us to know how to do sight-singing(singing solfege)................which is..sadly..alot of us are weak in that..haha!!

in the evening met up with Hock, Jasrie, Steven, Skinny Ben and his gf, Cherlyn..Ming was supposed to mit us, but then he was stuck in his NDP parade rehearsal..LOL..we went Central Mahattan fish market for dinner..well, their svc very gd k!!giving ice water without us asking..i love the manager!!Hock used his POSB card to make payment, so we were entitled to 10% discount..UOB card holder will be entitled to $5 voucher..you know what??the manager gave EACH of us a $5 voucher, 10% of our bill and a Mahattan sticker(can be used over and over again, 10% discount)..so nice right???i was super happy!!LOL!!

then tze hui and i left early..we stopped by The Central lobby..we were listening to this guy Robin Goh singing some jazz songs..a pianist was there also..his voice very nice lah!!i din know he can sing!!i tot he can only act!!it was super super nice!!he has a very sturdy voice..very very firm voice which i tot may not be very suitable for jazz music..but he was really gd!!

had a small tiff with my mum today..supposed to meet sheena and yona for lunch..but they had to go their grandma hse today..so in the end the meet up was cancelled..so i went out on my own..did some window shopping at causeway pt..din know that a 45 yr old woman was stabbed in the food court at 10.45am this morning..scary!!

after that, decided to go my grandma hse at amk..cos today is the Dumpling's Festival..i tot she will be at home..Lo and behold, i was at her doorstep and i realised she was not at home..haha..travelled from woodlands to amk and she was not at home..LOL..ok lah..it is my fault..cos i din call her to check 1st..so well..in the end , i cabbed home..........

before i went to her hse, i walked around her neighbourhood..all along i was taken care of by my great-grandma and grandma till i was 14..then i moved to woodlands..i went to the shops that i used to visit during my basketball years..haha!!actually i really miss playing bball..and i miss the company that we had when we played bball..the "we" is referring to my primary sch mates..i really miss those times..the times when the guys and girls dun really bother abt the diff gender and we just embraced this sports very innocently..the times when our form teacher banned us from bball cos of our nearing PSLE, but still, we went ahead, and hid when her bus pass by the bball court..haha!!the times when we will chipped in money to buy drinks for all of us..the times when we played in the rain..the times when i sprained my ankles for dunno how many times..the times when we would go to the nearby KFC to get free aircon after our game..haha..THOSE WERE THE TIMES MAN!!abt 10 yrs ago ba!!oh my gosh!!cant imagine im so old alrdy..........haha!!

now, im setting a time to visit the wet market cum hawker centre near my grandma's hse..when i was 4-6 yrs old, my aunt wld carry me in her arms and bring me to the wet market to do marketing everyday..you know that time, wet market was literally "wet market"..you can see the uncles scaling the fish in an open space, water was splashed everywhere,etc..they always greet you with a smile..i know where to get nice food, which uncle or auntie is nasty, etc..haha..i think thats the reason why im not afraid to go to wet market even though sometimes the smell can be overpowering..haha..i think im used to it le lah..i was trained from young to greet the uncles and aunties whenever i see them, even my neighbours too!!haha!!so everywhere i went, i will go "uncle, "auntie", "ah mm", "ah pek"..when i became older and i went to the wet market myself, the uncles and aunties recognised me ok!!and they will give me discount!!hahahaha!!so...i became an "auntie" when i was quite young........LOL..

now the market was renovated a few yrs back..and i still see some familiar faces..like the dessert stall couple who still recognises me(AMAZING!!), carrot cake uncle and auntie, curry fish head auntie, etc..some are not there anymore..like the you tiao ah pek(they made the nicest you tiao and hum chi pang in the world!!), yong tau foo uncle, etc..sigh..well..these are the changes over the past 5-6 yrs ba..if the wet market still remains in the future, i will definitely bring my children to marketing everyday..to let them get in touch with this cant-be-found-anywhere-else unique places..for them to appreciate and know 平凡中也可以得到快乐..只有在这种地方才能让他们知道每天吃的食物不是理所当然就有的, 是要经过许多人辛苦的处理后, 我们才能买得到, 不是说只要有钱就可以了.. i dun want my children to grow up giving comments like, " The fresh chickens and fishes so smelly, why uncles and aunties still want to have this job??" "the wet market so dirty and hot, i prefer going to supermarket, got air con somemore." sound so spoilt can!! although i go to supermarket to do most of my marketing now(cos nearer to my hse), i still go to wet market as well!! =) if the wet market is nearer my house than the supermarket, i wld choose to go to the wet market though..haha!!

ok..this post is like rojak post..LOL..oh ya!!for the upcoming "非常Superband", pls support the team 杂叭琅 if you like them k(ok..i admit im biased cos 2 of them shu hui and hwee shan are from MC but they are seriously gd lah!!)!!it is an acapella group..i like the way their tone blend with each other!!nice nice!!perfect!!3 ladies with a gentleman..saw them prac at MC singing "苏打绿 - 小情歌"..nice loh!!i like!!below are some of their videos..quality not very gd, so bear with it k!!

They sang "孙燕姿-逆光" at TPY Hub for the audition.Nice right??i think they recorded themselves!!

They got into the Top 16!!Their trailer!!NICE!!i like their colourful combinations!! =)

Peformance at IMM for the 1st time as Top 16 Bands.Quality not very gd..LOL!!

woo hoo!!looking forward to their performances!!
