was very very sad when i got to know abt the China earthquake..

as i flipped thru the pages of the newspaper,i saw pictures of mothers crying, dead bodies arranged in rows, children with their limbs amputated..im sure many of you alrdy know that more than 10 thousands ppl died in this earthquake..

i also read amazing stories of how victims were being saved..behind this tragedy, there are many encouraging and heart-warming stories as well..i wept not only becos many had died(and more coming up), but becos i was touched by the love and kind gestures shown..

1) 2 or 3 reporters from "Lian He Wan Bao" flew over to Sichuan..one of the locals offered them 3 cup noodles, saying, "Thank you so much for coming. We've got nothing to offer you except these noodles, hope you dun mind." -->it shows generosity and selflessness given that the victims are alrdy starving.

2) many teachers shielded the children from the collapse of the schools.--> it shows self-sacrificial love.

3) one mother shielded her child from the earthquake..when the child was saved, a handphone was discovered being wrapped with the child using a blanket. Hp msg ,"Child, if you manage to stay alive, mummy just wanna tell you that I LOVE YOU." the baby was sound aslp when evacuated.. --> it shows self-sacrificial love and there is/can be peace even in the midst of strife.

There is nothing i can do to help except giving donations and praying for them......

something lighter.

Came back from my kukup trip abt 2 weeks ago..oh man!!how we've had enjoyed ourselves!!auntie and uncle are very nice ppl can!!initially we agreed that they just provide us with lunch will do..in the end, auntie brought us out for makan and paid for all the food lah!!last day lunch she even cooked porridge for us knowing that we are quite sick of eating the good food!!haha!!

got many many pictures..BUT BUT BUT..i haven even upload it yet to the computer..haha!!both tzehui and i enjoyed the nice scenary, simple life there..imagine having your house build on mangrove swamp(with water)!!haha..when it was low tide, we can see mud skippers "skipping" lah..nice nice nice!!auntie asked us to just give her a call if we wanna go back, money is not an issue..she din even want to charge us lah!!I LOVE AUNTIE AND UNCLE!!

when i reach home, i received a call from her, asking us whether we are back home safely..long distance call leh!!oh man!!!i was very touched lah!!

both of us cld sense the sincerity from them..seriously, they are not after money,not hoping that if they are gd to us, we will bring more ppl there, therefore they can make more money..we dun even wanna leave can!!LOL..

tzehui and i dun really wanna to shop..thats why we chose kukup..just a very simple trip, with simple food, to be involve in the lives of the ppl there..i dun feel that im a tourist there, i felt more like im visiting my relatives..i dun want to be a "commercialise tourist" you know..i want to experience how auntie and uncle spend their time there..i want to do what they do..not like a tourist..cos the term "tourist" to me,sounds more of like a "passer-by" or a "onlooker", just visit the place,capture some nice pictures, thats it..i want to have more involvement..it makes us feel that the trip is really meaningful..cos uncle told us what he does as a living, how many children they have, what they did in the past, etc..so personal loh!!

haha!!ok ok..to others, our trip may seemed to be a boring one..haha!!actually, it really depends on what you want your holidays to be like..no right or wrong lah..haha!!

oh!!and i got to watch my American Idol over there!!so happy can!!i tot i cant watch loh!!and it was the top 6 performing!!how can i miss my Archuleta's performance!!haha!!

yeah yeah!!both Davids are gonna fight it out during the Finals!!Archuleta Archuleta GO GO GO!!haha!!

Top 4 performance. Rock and Roll Night. He changed the chords and the arrangemt of the song!!so ORIGINAL and NICE!!Simon said,"You din beat the competition tonight, you crush the competition." YEAH YEAH!!

Top 3 performance. The producer chose this song for him to sing. MESMERISING!!

I wanna upload his songs here!!but dunno why, cant use imeem anymore toupload download..my stupid computer!!haha!!have to use my sis computer to do it!!

oh!!i love the NDP choir prac as well!!haha..im in the Alto section..LOL..with tzehui!!!so fun!!have to use our head voice to sing most of the time esp slightly higher notes..haha!!use until my head swllen man!!haha!!*lame*

this sunday will be Music Clinic 5th Anniversary..Tzehui and I are performing..got a hard time convincing that girl to perform man..haha!!in the end, she signed up for it!!applaud you for your courage girl!! :)
I will be singing "Top Of The World" by The Carpenters..haha!!but it is not their version, another more upbeat version..thanks to tzehui for the great suggestion!!and recently im influenced by AI, cause quite a lot of times they chose those retro song..Beatles, John Lennon, etc lah..haha!!so now i listen more to retro songs in fact!!LOL!!
