1st lesson with MC!!SO FUN!!

haha..been waiting for this day to come man!!

was supposed to have EA mtg this morn..but alot of us suddenly cant make it..so it was postpone.. =( then in the afternoon, went to MC for my 1st music lesson!!woo hoo!!1st lesson was taught by Fang Lao Shi(FLS)..used to call him by his name..haha..but now, cos he is my teacher, i think addressing him as "Lao Shi" is appropriate.. =) i respect him alot man..

as usual..haha..he was SO SO funny!!cant stop laughing thruout the whole lesson man..LOL..i knew he wld be asking us to sing "Yong Qi" again..so this pass one week i had been practising at home..hahahahaha..and i think i probably listen to the song 50x liao (and yes, im listening to it now)..haha..i REALLY REALLY enjoyed myself!!saw kelvin and linda too!!haha..they were having their practical singing test..saw some really cute children in the sch..haha..they got competition in the evening..so everyone was dressed up so nicely!!even the children got the "star" look..LOL..feel a little sad that i was not able to watch the competition.. =(

FLS taught us a few things today:

1) must have the right energy level with the song when singing.
2) must take note of the double beat and sing accordingly.
3) face expression must match the lyrics and the "feel" of the song.

haha..today din taught of taking notes..next week onwards, going to bring a note book to take down notes..cos sure will forget if din write down..then he let us sing finish the whole song and correct us as we went along..haha..
i think my rythm really got problem..the song got double beat..so have to sing according to that..when singing the verse, got a bit of tempo problem and he demonstrated to me how i shld sing it..then i cont singing..phew..other than that, he din really stop me le..so i sang finish the whole song!!LOL..YEAH!!then he said "ta chang wan zheng shou ge leh!ke yi kai yan chang hui liao!(she sing finish the whole song leh!can have a concert liao!)" haha..i was like err.... -_-""" actually..i think i still got alot to learn..esp my tempo and high notes..when comes to high notes, my pitching will be a little off..and i got not enuff "qi"..think got sumthing wrong with my breathing techniques..so hopefully next week can learn more abt breathing techniques..cos that will affect pitching..LOL..still got alot to improve on and learn..
