oh well.. today is the last day of 2004!new year is coming!hmm.. today managed to wake up early.. haha.. as usual.. we had lessons.. blah, blah, blah.. hmm.. din sign up for NYAA.. cos i know i wun have the time.. then also dun want to sign up liao then give up halfway.. so might as well dun sign up at all loh.. got a lot of things in hands lah..

went home after sch.. slp thru the whole afternoon until 7.30pm.. haha.. then wake up.. have dinner.. preparing to go watchnight service..

wow.. today the sanctuary was filled! all the 4 levels were occupied!hmm.. the past year watchnight service, we wld welcome the new year with cheers and claps.. but for this time.. it was quite solemn.. when it was 12am.. we prayed for the tsunami victims and singapore.. everyone was praying.. and thanking God for His protection upon singapore which we love..

most of the singaporean were celebrating new year and mayb outside or at home with their friends and families.. enjoying themselves.. or some.. mayb at home.. getting updated of the worlds news.. we still have a roof over our top and food to eat.. but there are ppl out there.. alone.. becos their entire family get wiped out by the waves.. some were still desperately waiting.. hoping to find their family members and love ones.. some were seriously injured, fighting with death.. and a lot more were still in shock.. and were traumatised by this calamity.. how blessed we are to be in singapore.. how blessed we are, having our love ones with us.. how blessed we are, that this tidal waves did not hit us.. how blessed we are, to have food to eat and a home to stay.. but those victims.. they are suffering.. mayb physically, emotionally, mentally, etc.. should not we thank God for His divine protection upon singapore?

i was weeping and weeping as i prayed.. i also dunno why.. but as i prayed.. my tears just flow down non-stop..thru this calamity.. i realised how vulnerable life is.. we nv know wats going to happen the next min or sec.. like wat Pastor Rony said.. if this thing is going to happen to singapore, and given singapore size.. most likely it will affect every part of singapore.. there may still be survivors.. but they will be injured too.. will there be any hospitals left for treatmt? will there be any doctors or nurses available to treat us? i cant imagine.. Pastor Rony said that it is really beyond wat we can imagine if this hit singapore.. thats why we were so thankful that we are not affected..

thats why i told my parents and siblings.. NEVER take singapore for granted.. dun think that singapore is strategically located we will be fine.. it is not.. we still need to be watchful but of cos not too extreme until you dun want to even step out of your house.. we cant take wat we have now for granted.. becos you NEVER know when you going to lose them.. can be your love ones, family members, etc.. so learn to treasure those ppl around you.. and also.. dun grumble or criticise too much.. something that i need to change.. learn to be contented but not to the extend of laziness and not seeking self improvemt.. contentmt is great gain..

alot of ppl might be asking a lot of 'why' this tsunami happen and killed so many ppl.. alot of ppl might be still pondering and pondering over these 'whys'.. it is understandable.. but it had already happened.. so knowing the answer to the quests does not help at all.. instead of focusing on the waves( as in asking so many 'why' quests regarding the tsunami), we can look beyond these waves by rendering our help in whichever ways we can to the victims.. and to be watchful.. and to keep those victims and singapore in prayer.. dun you think by looking beyond the waves, we are being more practical and spending our time more wisely and can help those victims more? there are lessons to be learnt from this calamity.. yes.. it is good to learnt lessons from it.. but there are differences betw learning lessons and asking why.. yup..

can see that a lot of things that happen recently is fulfilling the prophecy of the bible.. found in Matthew 24:7 - Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes happening from places to places. Luke 21:25 - There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Man will faint from terror, apprehensive of wat is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. this is wat the bible says.. the Word of God that was written 2005 yrs ago.. it has already came to pass.. ppl.. im not scaring you all and i dun have any intention of blogging this.. but it is really written.. staring back at me right now.. so im just blogging wat i see.. no offence..

anyway.. it is really a great blessing to be here in singapore.. and will continue to pray for singapore.. brothers and sisters in Christ.. lets not forget to pray ya? pray pray pray!

hmm.. will be going out with cerelia later.. haha.. hopefully can wake up on time ba.. lol.. see ya friends!oh ya.. and a HAPPY NEW YEAR too! oh ya.. and cheers to my dear 1st blog entry of the yr 2005!
