Blog Song: 梁静茹-分手快乐

haha..ok..passed the audition round, the 1st competition in my whole life time of 20 yrs..Teenage Icon 2007..sang 梁静茹-分手快乐 (my current blog song)..din expect this to happen though..tot just go for experience and fun..really really din expect..

actually was quite discouraging..cos nobody went down with me..all was busy with work,etc..sianzzzz..but after that, still went down cos the reason i took part of this comp is not for others, it is for myself..and i was thinking, if i din passed, it will be very pai seh lah..haha..so i went myself loh!

the audition is not as scary as i tot..well..mayb it is becos it was closed door, with 3 judges and a cameraman..if it is on a stage, think i may just tremble then faint on stage..LOL..abit exaggerating..haha..

i entered the room..then pass the judges the form where they will write down their comments, etc..then under occupation, i wrote "Teacher"..haha..the judge was quite surprise and asked what kind of teacher..so i told him "student care teacher", etc..then chatted with me for a while, which helped me to relax abit..

so i sang the song..haha..the judges' reaction quite funny..initially, before i started singing, their heads were down filling in some forms..then when i started singing, the 3 of them looked up at the SAME time..it was quite a amusing i tot..but i din luff lah..cont singing loh..2 chinese judges and 1 malay judge..

then.....

i almost sang finish the whole song, then they told me to stop..haha..these are the comments they gave..

Judge A: make use of the whole stage, dun just stand still when singing.

Judge B: dun rush thru the song (think i was very nervous, thats why)

Judge C: take note of your pitching, esp the high notes.

Judge B spoke again: But you look good today!

LOL..their comments were professional enuff..think judge B said that i look gd is becos.....hmm..err..better dun say here..scared kana "bomb" by other ppl later..haha..

then the judge ask me over..then they handed me a piece of blank pp..then i tot i nit to write sumthing or what..so i just took the pp, flash my biggest smile(haha), and say bye bye to them and walk towards the door..

Eileen: thank you!bye bye! (waving my hands at them while walking towards the door)

Judge: wait wait..ai yoh..come back..

Eileen: huh? orh.. (walk towards them)

Judge: flip over your paper.

Eileen: (flip over the paper) OH!! Thank you so much!!

Judges: Congratulations!! you are selected for the heats!!

Eileen: thank you thank you!! bye bye!! (smile and walk towards the door)

haha..the judges are very nice ppl..and they are funny!!hahahaha..one thing that Jay Lim (the Sg idol) said was..judges has to sit for at least 3-5hrs, listening to the various contestants, do you really think that they wish that you will fail to get thru and only pin point your mistakes. judges are not sadistic ppl ok.. after hearing what Jay said, i was like..ya hoh..make sense..at least what he said helped me..not so scared by the judges anymore..

woo hoo!!so now waiting for my name to appear on the teenage icon webby either by this tues or thurs..!!

wanna thank all my dearies for their support!!keeping me company with the smses and calls before the audition!!tze hui and sheena esp!!woo hoo!!and lao lim(yona) and my sis!!my mum support me with real actions ok!! she sponsor me for the studio shooting..haha..

last sat, went to Music Story open house..that lao fang kept asking us to go back..always say the same thing when we went back to visit him..haha..not sian sia he..told him not enuff money to go to 2 music schs at the same time..asked him wana hire cleaner anot..$50/day, im willing to work..haha..then he said he is hiring..but $20/mth..i was like -_-""""..how to survive with that?want me to eat air only isit??haha..funny lah he..he is really a very "mature" kid sia..all of us miss him very very much!!haha..

then we went to focus music (FM) to take a look since it is very near to MS..we were actually talking to fang chen lao shi..then we saw someone..that someone..immediately..turn all of us off.. =S gd thing we din see "the other someone", if not i think we will all take out our umbrellas and sing "ji ki sio ho sua (one little small umbrella)"..haha..nvm..only tze hui, sis, sheena and yona will understand this paragraph..haha..

both me and tzehui thinking of learning guitar down the road..yeah!!cos we wanna learn composing!!keyboard wld be the other choice!!haha..still young..so learn whatever we want while we still can man..

the coming 2 weeks will be very hectic for me and my sparkers..cos Heart Of Worship 2007 is coming!!we will be prac 3 times per week..yup..each session minimum 2 hrs..jia you man!!

going for pre-employmt checkup tml!!woo hoo!!
