today cell group was quite interesting.. shane gave us chocolates if we can find the correct bible verses that answer his quests..LOL..not everytime we have this.. i think this is the 1st time.. it actually motivate us to read the bible..haha..josephine and i were told not to answer the quests anymore.. cos we guessed correctly each time..hahaha.. =P learn alot today.. hehe.. and some of the chocolate contain cactus ( without the spikes though )!!!! so interesting!!!but i din get that.. =( haha.. but then it is ok.. i still got chocolates ma!! hehe..

sermon was abt being on fire for God..pacer used the passage in Daniel 3.. King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold and told his ppl in Babylon to worship this idol.. if not he will send them to the burning furnace.. the ppl in Babylon were afraid of the king and so, they did wat he said.. except 3 men.. who refused to worship the idol even if they were to be sent to the burning furnace. they trusted God that He will save them from the furnace and even if He does not, they will not worship the idol either..

in the end.. these 3 men were being sent to the burning furnace.. and surprisingly, not even a single strand of hair were lost or burnt.. they were not touched by the fire at all.. and the king saw this and he got converted as well.. how imspiring!!

these 3 men were indeed on fire for God and they are not man-pleaser.. they wld rather please God even if they were to burnt alive.. wat great faith!! this really serves as a reminder for me..to place Him first in my life, to have faith in God, to be obedient to Him, to know how to exercise spiritual authority, and to be on fire for him.. all these are hard to achieve.. but we can do all things thru Christ who strengthen us....that's His promise and i claim that..

well.. sometimes i feel that i neglected my sheep.. my sparklers.. too task orientated.. sigh.. manage to talk more to them today.. and they actually encourage me!!oh..i feel so guilty..shall pay more attention to them.. was reminded abt zhihui's teaching during SM fellowship.. glad that they are more open up to me too..at least i can keep them in prayer..hehe.. trusting God to intervene..

oh well.. wed is organic chem.. i think it is easier than inorganic chem.. hehe.. mayb becos i dun understand wat Xu taught cos of his accent.. but nvm lah.. i passed that liao..haha..

Leaders' conference coming up.. hmm.. leaders of the church will gather once again.. abt 300 ppl? ya.. it is so nice to see all the leaders gather together in one Spirit and one accord.. the devil will always attack the leadership of the church more than anyone else.. cos when leaders fall,members will fall too.. that is his schemes.. so it is a time for us to gather and pray as a Body of Christ.. and trusting God to do something great!!
