Bbqs and more Bbqs..

Basically spent the past 4 or 5 days with the church leaders and my cell member.. we had bbq on tues and wed.. haha.. I prepared the food for the wed bbq.. got stingray, sotong, chicken wings,etc.. best of all.. marshmellow.. haha.. best sia..

Rachel and titus help me in the marinating of the food.. they very good.. really help me a lot.. hmm.. all of them said that the bbq food is nice.. haha.. so happy.. praise God!!

Must really thank shane(my asst cell leader), Shannon(my ex-asst cell leader), derrick and wei xiong.. shane and Shannon really put in a lot of effort for this cell grp retreat.. esp the activities.. very meaningful.. and also must thank those who came.. without all of you, it is impossible to carry out all these activities.. and most imptly.. I thank God for this chance to know Him and my cell members better.. thank you God!!

Thru this 2 retreats.. I got to know my cell members better.. din know that shane is so fatherly.. poured us ice water.. haha.. he scared that we will get dehydrated.. first time I see a male leader so fatherly.. then Shannon really love God.. and he really hunger for God.. his sharing always so inspiring.. titus is very helpful.. help the leaders a lot.. Rachel also very helpful.. must really thank her dad for providing the transport.. must thank cerelia for cooking the bee hoon.. haha.. still edible lah.. must thank mark and ryan for buying dinner for us on the second nite.. wah.. still got a lot of ppl to thank.. lol.. a BIG thank you to everyone!

Abt the leaders retreat.. it was held at pacer’s old condo.. very big and nice.. and haha.. I slept on Pastor Rony anointed bed.. haha.. Pastor Rony is his dad.. and wed midnite.. pacer drove a few of us out to have supper.. prata.. lol.. we had a great time together! Praise God! All these thing wld not happen if God is not with us.. thank God!

The theme of the retreat is H.U.M .. H = Hunger for God, U = Unity, M = Ministers..
Wei ping also shared with us to be hunger for God.. only then.. we can grow spiritually in Him.. passion and zeal for Christ.. really very impt.. however.. it is impossible to have zeal and passion for God if you dun love Him.. so.. the most fundamental.. is still to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength..

I had learn to love God more, to trust Him more, to depend on Him more.. and also.. learnt more abt my cell members.. really love them a lot.. the cell grp retreat is really a good bonding session.. my dear brothers and sisters-in-Christ.. lets shine for His glory and be the light of this world!

Read joash blog.. saw john 3:16.. “ for God so love the world that He gave His one and only begotten son to die for our sins. That who so ever believe in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life.” This reminded me again of God’s love.. this Agape love.. the greatest love of all is not any other love.. but His.. His love has no measures.. and He love all of us.. and I really mean all of us.. whether we can feel it anot.. love, faith and hope.. the greatest of all is love.. I think.. a lot of times.. we tend to search for the things of this world to fill that emptiness inside us.. money, bgr, fame, popularity,etc.. yes.. they may make you feel wonderful.. but it is only for the time being.. not forever.. they may make us feel wonderful for 10 yrs, 20yrs? But it cant last forever.. how many times.. we feel empty or lonely inside us even when we had all we want to have?

Well.. only God’s love can fill that emptiness and loneliness within all of us.. why? Simply becos He loves us so much.. God is love.. and His love endures FOREVER.. God not only loves us.. He will also help you, gives you strength in times of troubles.. He cares so much for us.. a Father’s desire to know His children more.. and to love them.. to embrace them.. just so simple but yet so precious and great.. He is our Creator and we are His creation.. He even knows how many hairs we have..

What you are is God's Gift to you, What you become is your gift to God..
